This piece is an ethereal world born from the many places I once inhabited. Creating this world helped me navigate the trauma of frequent moves during my young adulthood. While making this work, I also considered the indigenous people who originally occupied these spaces—those whose land we stole to form all of the U.S. states where I've lived.
I used a mixture of physical media, digital painting, creative code, and glitched photographs of the spaces to create this piece.
