Scandinavian folk art inspires me, so I decided to illustrate my own set of motifs. I used the motifs to design a pattern back in 2017. That little pattern it kicked off my love of repeat surface pattern design. I built that little pattern into a collection of seven patterns in 2019, and started selling them on Spoonflower. I refreshed the motif designs and color palette in 2022 to better reflect my illustration style. Read more about my process on my blog.
